This does not surprise me. While obviously not even close to the quality of his work, I think I have spent too much time reading all sorts of his works to not be influenced by it with my own style of writing. I’m actually very pleased with this result!
Of course, it only counts if I’m actually writing! My good intentions have already fallen by the wayside for one reason or another but they’re not really reasons, more excuses. I have my writing group tomorrow so hopefully that will get the motivation going again and it’s not like I’m stuck for ideas, I just can’t seem to get pen to paper/fingers to keyboard at the moment.
